TEST TUBE SAFETY
The VACUTUBE test tubes are manufactured of the most up-to-date plastic
materials. PET is practically unbreakable, transparent and light as a feather.
By using the VACUTUBE you will reduce the risks and expenses related to
test-tube breakage and also the cost of transport and disposal costs of
biologically hazardous wastes.
SIZE
The test tubes VACUTUBE are manufactured in two key sizes:13 x 75 mm and 13 x
100 mm. This ensures the compatibility with the majority of haematological and
biochemical analysers. A wide range of additives and volumes is evident from the
product line enclosed. STOPPER SAFETY The stopper is designed to allow a
controlled and safe opening of the test tube, preventing any aerosol formation
on removal. Unscrewing is not necessary.
COLOUR-CODE MARKING
The colour of the stopper corresponds to the internationally used marking
standards for the vacuum blood sample collection test tubes.
GEL
The VACUTUBE assortment also comprises test tubes with a gel. During the
centrifugation of a sample the gel settles between serum and blood clot, where
it constitutes a firm barrier for separation.
COMPATIBILITY
The VACUTUBE stopper can be used for all standard needle holders with vacuum
blood sample collection. The VACUTUBE system is also suitable for analysers
sampling directly from the closed vacuum blood sample collection tubes
